The Pittsburgh Steelers will once again qualify for the Superbowl for their third time in six seasons. This stellar performance would further excite most of us in anticipating for the upcoming match-up that will take place this February.

While Aaron Rodgers was the man of the night for the Packers as he managed to secure an early score and made a final game saving tackle in the last part of their win against the Bears. This was enough for this strong Packers to move up a nudge towards the Superbowl XLV.

The National Football League has seen a big increase in the number of viewers this year which will further increased by the upcoming Superbowl match-up. The NFL witnessed the growth of this enormous league by showing off its best viewer population in 15 years. All of the games from the regular season up to the playoffs garnered enormous viewers at the average of 20 million each night.

Even the network hosting the event was shocked by this enormous figures. CBS, NBC and FOX was stunned this season as they never had this kind of viewer pie in all the recent histories. Their tough shows which are not related to NFL are just averaging about 8 million viewers on a good day. The American football fan base are continuously increasing and with the Superbowl in the spotlight, we will expect unimaginable viewers this February 6.

Further Updates: Pittsburgh Steelers, Maurkice Pouncey, will not be appearing in the upcoming Super Bowl this February 6. He injured his ankle during the the AFC championship game and would no longer be playing for the last leg of the NFL season. He would instead be on the sideline for the Superbowl XLV.

History: The Steelers and Packers will face-off for the first time this season. The last time the two teams met was December 20, 2009, when the Steelers defeated the Packers 37–36 at Heinz.

Advertisers: This year Pepsi Cola will be returning to support the NFL by placing ads for its Pepsi Max products as well as their Frito-lay Doritos. Coca-cola will also be placing ads along with Hyundai and GoDaddy.com. Several movie teasers will be aired for the upcoming Superbowl XLV. Some are the following: Kung Fu Panda 2, Captain America, Transformers, Thor, Super 8, Pirates of the Caribbean and Battle: Los Angeles.
